The weekend kicked off with a welcome party/rehearsal dinner at Cellardoor Winery in Lincolnville. It was a chance for everyone to relax, try the fabulous food served by Trilllium Caterers in Belfast, and--of course--the selection of wines from Cellardoor was top notch.
The ceremony was tastefully decorated with vintage barrels, which were the base for the glowing lanterns encircled with strong foliage, such as eucalyptus, that added interesting color and texture to the ceremony.
The bridesmaids were in neutral-colored gowns that made their flower bouquets pop. Each bridesmaid chose her own style of gown while staying within the color scheme. The girls have all been friends since college. The richness of the deep burgundy florals added warmth to the crisp fall day.
The Summit at Point Lookout was graced with warm glowing candles in a variety of sizes and colors. They added a bit of romance to the already beautiful venue. The table markers were made from wine corks and were created by the bride's mother--deep rich dahlias, roses, mums, amaranth, and assorted ecucalyptus complemented the mercury glass vessels.
Dancing into the night was one of the highlights of this spectacular event; Cliff and his buddies have got some great moves!
